| April 2, 2015

NNDCThe event, at Aylsham old cinema, on Cawston Road, next to the fire station, is on Friday, April 17, Saturday, April 18, and Sunday, April 19.

It is organised by Aylsham Round Table and will be the 10th year of the festival.

When it started, the event attracted between 50 and 70 people.

Last year’s weekend attracted more than 700 people from across Norfolk and since the event started it has raised about £40,000 for local charities and good causes.

This month’s festival will feature 35 real ales and 15 ciders, all from Norfolk brewers, including Humpty Dumpty, Panther, Buffys and Woodfordes.

Paul Wright, Aylsham Round Table vice-chairman, said: “We do have a massive age range of people attend the festival. It is a way of promoting local breweries.”

The event is happening between 6pm-11pm on Friday; 11am-11pm on Saturday and 11am-3pm on Sunday. Tickets cost £10, £15 or £20.

Organisers are appealing for companies to sponsor a barrel for £100. The deadline to register an interest is April 9.
